HONOLULU (Island News) – Diamond Head Theatre’s (DHT) benefit performance of Mamma Mia! raised $20,011 for the Maui Strong Fund.
All of the proceeds made at the sold-out Mamma Mia! performance went entirely to support the Hawai'i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund that is devoted to i mmediate and long-term recovery needs of the people and places that were affected by the Maui wildfires.
'Mamma Mia!' bursts onto the stage with a vibrant array of costumes that perfectly capture the sun-drenched charm of a Greek island. Expect to see breezy, flowy dresses in soft pastels, crisp linen outfits in cool oceanic tones, and dazzling, sequined jumpsuits that sparkle under the stage lights. Each costume is thoughtfully designed to reflect the characters’ exuberant personalities, bringing to life the joyous, carefree spirit of this beloved musical, making it a visual celebration of love, laughter, and timeless ABBA hits.
